SuperRecord Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 30, 2026
This policy covers the SuperRecord browser extension, extension ID nbgmlhmkkcheolldenkdkcokehhjfkco. It is operated by balubenko, Inc., a United States corporation. The Super Media Privacy Policy covers the website, accounts, and payments.
What the extension records
SuperRecord records only after you press Start. Depending on what you choose, it captures the screen, window, or tab you pick in the browser’s own prompt, your camera, your microphone, and tab or system sound where the browser offers it. Recording ends when you press Stop, delete the recording, or close the recorder tab.
What stays on your device
While you record, the video is written to the extension’s private storage in your browser so it survives a crash or lost connection. Your settings, sign-in session, and the state of unfinished recordings are also kept in the extension’s storage. If you are not signed in, the recording is not uploaded: you can watch it and download it on your computer.
What is uploaded
If you are signed in, the recording is uploaded to Super Media while you record, so a share link is ready when you stop. If you sign in from the result page after recording, it is uploaded then. We store the video file, a preview image taken from it, and its details: title, date, duration, size, format, and resolution. The title of a tab recording starts with that tab’s page title.
Anyone with a video’s link can watch it, without an account. Video pages are not listed in search engines. You can delete a video at any time from its page or your library, which permanently deletes the file.
Your account
Signing in is optional. When you sign in, the extension receives a session token from supermedia.space and stores it with your email address in the extension’s storage. We record a device label, such as “Chrome on Mac”, so you can see and revoke that session. Signing out removes the token from the extension and revokes the session.
Pages you visit
SuperRecord does not collect your browsing history and does not read the content of pages. When you start a recording, it adds the camera bubble and recording controls to the tab being recorded. Access to other sites is requested only if you turn on “Keep camera on new pages”, and is used only to show the bubble again after that tab navigates. The extension has no analytics or advertising code.
How information is used and shared
We use recordings and account information only to provide recording, playback, sharing, and your library, to prevent abuse, to give support you ask for, and to meet legal obligations. We don’t sell recordings or personal information, and we don’t use recordings for advertising or AI training. Authorized personnel access a video only for requested support, abuse or security review, or legal compliance.
Our providers are Vercel, for hosting and private file storage, and Supabase, for authentication and account data. Paid plans are bought on supermedia.space and processed by Stripe.
Retention and deletion
Uploaded recordings are kept until you delete them. Data stored in the extension remains until you delete the recording, sign out, clear the extension’s storage, or uninstall it. To request access to or deletion of account information, contact us below. Data sent between the extension and supermedia.space is protected with HTTPS.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
SuperRecord’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use or transfer user data for personalized advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or sale to third parties.
Changes
We may update this policy when SuperRecord’s features or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
