Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the SuperSave Chrome extension, extension ID fplckidompbnclimbbemkmjaemekfoee, the SuperClip Chrome extension, and the website at supermedia.space. They are operated by balubenko, Inc., a United States corporation. The sections up to “Payments” describe SuperSave; “SuperClip” describes the screen recorder.

What the extension accesses

To find downloadable media, SuperSave observes network requests made by websites you visit and scans page content for media elements and media URLs. This may involve website URLs, request and response metadata, and page content. This processing is required for SuperSave’s user-facing purpose: showing the video and audio available on the current page in the extension side panel.

This page and network analysis happens locally in your browser. SuperSave does not send your browsing history, visited-page URLs, page content, detected media URLs, request contents, response contents, cookies, or authentication data to our servers.

License verification

If you activate premium features, the license key you enter is sent over HTTPS to supermedia.space. The server validates the signed license key and confirms that its associated one-time Stripe Checkout payment remains paid. The verification response contains only whether the license is valid and whether it grants lifetime access.

The license key contains a signed Stripe Checkout session identifier and issuance time. It does not contain your card number or browsing activity. The extension may store the license key and the latest successful verification time locally in Chrome storage so premium access can continue between browser sessions.

Payments

Lifetime purchases are processed on our website by Stripe, Inc. Stripe receives the payment and billing information needed to complete the transaction. SuperSave does not receive or store complete card numbers. Stripe may provide us with transaction details such as payment status, Checkout session identifier, customer email, amount, currency, and tax information.

SuperClip

Recordings. SuperClip records only after you press Start, and only the source you choose (a screen, window, tab or your camera) plus your microphone and tab or system sound if you turn them on. While recording to a share link, the video is saved temporarily on your computer and uploaded in pieces to our storage provider, Cloudflare R2. The local copy is deleted once the upload finishes. “Save to computer” recordings are never uploaded.

Who can see a video. Anyone with a video’s link can watch it, without an account. Video pages are not listed in search engines. You can delete a video at any time from its page or your library; this permanently deletes the file.

What we store. The video file and its details (title, duration, size, recording time, trim settings, plan). SuperClip doesn’t use accounts: the extension creates a random key on your device that proves you own your videos. We store only a one-way hash of that key. When you open your library from the extension, the key is passed to supermedia.space in the part of the link that isn’t sent to our servers, and is kept in your browser’s local storage.

Business plan. If you subscribe, the extension sends your license key to supermedia.space to confirm with Stripe that the subscription is active.

What we don’t do. We don’t watch, analyse, sell or use your recordings for advertising or AI training. People at balubenko, Inc. only access a video when you ask for support, when it’s reported as abusive or illegal, or when the law requires it. SuperClip doesn’t read the pages you visit; it only shows its camera bubble on the tab you record.

How information is used and shared

We use license and payment information only to complete purchases, verify lifetime access, prevent fraud or abuse, provide support, and meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. We do not sell user data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers or advertising platforms.

Information may be disclosed to service providers that are necessary to operate SuperSave, including Stripe for payment processing, Vercel for hosting the website and its API, and Cloudflare for storing SuperClip videos; when required by law; or when necessary to investigate security threats, fraud, or abuse.

Storage, retention, and security

Locally stored extension settings and license information remain in Chrome storage until you remove them, reset the extension, or uninstall it. Server-side payment and transaction records are retained as needed to provide lifetime access and satisfy legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and accounting requirements. Data transmitted between the extension and supermedia.space is protected with HTTPS.

Your choices

You may use the free extension without submitting a license key. You can remove locally stored extension data by clearing the extension’s storage or uninstalling SuperSave. To request access to or deletion of server-side personal information, contact us at the address below. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate fraud-prevention and accounting purposes.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

SuperSave uses browsing activity and website content only to provide and improve its single user-facing media-detection feature. We do not use or transfer this information for personalized advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or sale to third parties. We do not allow humans to read this information except with the user’s explicit consent for support, when necessary for security or abuse investigation, to comply with applicable law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized for permitted internal operations.

Changes

We may update this policy when SuperSave’s features or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date and disclosed where required.
